About Anne Douglas

Anne Douglas is a communications professional passionate about hockey — in particular, women’s hockey. She plays recreational women’s hockey in Cambridge, Ontario and attends as many Canadian Women’s Hockey League (www.cwhl.ca) games as possible. Last year she helped cover the first-ever Clarkson Cup National Women’s Hockey Championships for the CWHL. Most “Her Hockey” posts are profiles of elite female players in Canada.

  1. I love your website and blogs. Keep up the great work.

  2. We would like to support herhockey on our website. Our website is dedicated to Canadian athletes that want to increase their exposure. We have a link for our visitors to donate to Own the Podium to support Olympians on their route to the Olympics. I would like to talk to Anne to discuss how we can help the athletes you feature.

I have been out of the country for a couple of years, and now returning to Montreal, Qc. I am in my twenties, female- and figure skated from 4-15. I want to learn to play hockey in some sort of beginner, social, female group. Can you recommend any groups?
